DESCRIPTION:Due to the impending weather forecast\, the CPR Event for today has been postponed.  \nOnce the course is rescheduled for a new date\, we will send out notification via email blast\, Journal and/or website.  \n\nHands-Only CPR \nJanuary 10\, 2017 \nFree Member Benefit \nPlease mark your calendar for a FREE Member Benefit that could save your life or someone you know. \nOn January 10th\, at 4:30 PM Cardiologist Dr. Nainesh Patel and other dedicated volunteers from the Lehigh Valley Network will demonstrate Hands-Only CPR. \nAll Members\, Family Members & Members Staff\, are invited to take part in this demonstration and training. \nHands-Only CPR is CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by people who see a teen or adult suddenly collapse in an “out-of-hospital” setting (such as at home\, at work or in a park). \nAccording to the American Heart Association\, about 90 percent of people who suffer out-of hospital cardiac arrests die. SUMMARY:Bar Admissions Ceremony & Reception
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe 2017 Bar Admissions Ceremony will be held on January 27\, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in Courtroom 2A of the Lehigh County Courthouse.  All individuals interested in participating must obtain a Bar Admissions Ceremony Information Packet from the Court Administrator’s Office in Room 614 or request an electronic copy by sending an e-mail to kerryturtzo@lehighcounty.org.  The packet contains instructions\, a sample petition\, a sample proposed order\, and an application form. The application form only must be completed and returned to the Court Administrator’s Office by January 18\, 2017.  If you prefer to file the application electronically\, please send it to kerryturtzo@lehighcounty.org.  Please be advised that failure to file the application form by the deadline may prevent the applicant from participating in the ceremony.  Petitions and proposed orders for admission should not be presented to Court Administration or to the judges prior to the ceremony on January 27\, 2017.  Instead\, please bring your petition and proposed order with you to the Bar Admissions Ceremony. \n  \nFamily and friends are welcome to attend the New Member Reception and Happy Hour will be held at The Barristers Club immediately following the ceremony.
