Three BALC Members Recognized as “Women of influence” by Lehigh Valley Business

Allentown, PA (April 25, 2017)- Three Bar Association of Lehigh County members have been named 2017 Women of Influence by Lehigh Valley Business.

The three women, Stephanie Koenig of Zator Law, Jessica Moyer of King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul, LLC  and Julie Macomb of Norris, McLaughlin and Marcus,  were selected by a panel of independent judges and were assigned points based on career accomplishments, leadership, vision, community service and mentoring in order to receive the award. They are being recognized for their professional success, community involvement and advocacy for women.

Stephanie Koenig of Zator Law, dedicates her practice to Business and Commercial law, Real Estate law, Municipal Law and General Civil Practice. She has been a member of the Bar Association since 2009 and has current membership with the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Commercial Real Estate Women’s Network – Lehigh Valley.

A member of the Bar Association of Lehigh County since 2005, Jessica Moyer of King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul, LLC focuses her practice on Education Law and Family Law. Though she says being a partner at a firm and a mother full time has its challenges, she has always been motivated to be a competent business woman. Jessica is extremely honored by the Woman of Influence award and hopes that it that it will serve as an inspiration to future generations of female leaders, one in particular. “To me this honor means that I have succeeded within the legal profession, I am a valued business partner, I have given back to the community and I am a good example for my daughter who is hopefully a “future” Woman of Influence” said Moyer.

The recipient of the 2017 Woman to Watch Award, Julie Macomb is an Associate at Norris McLaughlin and Marcus, where she focuses her practice on business law.  A member of the Bar Association since 2013, Julie also received the Super Lawyers Rising Star Award in 2015.

All three women, along with the other recipients from the Lehigh Valley Business list will be recognized at an awards ceremony on Wednesday May 10th at Cedar Crest College in Allentown. For a complete listing of award winners, visit

Since the turn of the century, the Bar Association of Lehigh County has provided service and assistance to the area’s lawyers and the community. The association was officially chartered in 1905 “to advance the science of jurisprudence and the administration of justice, to encourage a thorough legal education, to uphold the honor and dignity of the bar, to cultivate social and professional association among its members, to assist the courts in the orderly and efficient administration of justice and to perpetuate the history of the profession and the memory of its members within this judicial district.” Today, the association maintains offices and meeting facilities at 1114 West Walnut Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Services include Continuing Legal Education, a Lawyer Referral Service, Lehigh Law Journal publication and The Barristers Club banquet and meeting facilities.
