The 2016 Bar Admissions Ceremony will be held on  Friday January 29, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in Courtroom 2A of the Lehigh County Courthouse. All individuals desiring to participate must obtain from the Court Administrator’s Office a bar admissions information packet. The information packet can be forwarded to you electronically. It contains instructions, a sample petition and an application form. The application form only must be completed and returned to the Court Administrator’s Office by January 22, 2016. If you desire to file the application electronically, please send it to williamberndt@lehighcounty.org  Failure to file the application form by the deadline may prevent the applicant from participating in the ceremony.  Petitions and proposed orders for admission should not be presented either to Court Administration or to the judges prior to the ceremony on January 29, 2016. Please bring the petitions and proposed orders with you to the Bar Admissions Ceremony.

Please note: Members who have already been admitted during the year since the 2015 Bar Admissions Ceremony are welcome to attend and be recognized by the Court sitting en banc.  If interested, please contact William Berndt, Court Administrator, at williamberndt@lehighcounty.org.

Family and friends are welcome to attend The New Member Reception and Happy Hour which will be held at The Bar Association (1114 West Walnut Street, Allentown) immediately following the Bar Admissions Ceremony. Please join us for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the BALC Ballroom, which will begin at approximately 5:00pm.
